I love the Password Safe, but I have to extend my daily activities to Linux platforms (Ubuntu is my favorite, but Suse as well).
What I really want is a Linux Gnome desktop compatible version of the Password Safe, but, if I remember correctly, you are reluctant to offer that. Am I correct?
If so, can you suggest a Linux password safe that can import contents using the output from the Password Safe export function?
Thanks. |

There are many requests for Password Safe on other platforms like Unix, IPhone or Android.
I'm thinking about at least a viewer that is able to run on all platforms.
I don't know a Linux tool that is able to import the Bagusoft Password Safe data. The problem would is: most other tools use a flat data structure with fixed entry formats, and are not able to import the dynamic data structure. |

A read-only viewer for other platforms is a Great Idea. Even now, I keep a master safe on my favorite windows laptop and then distribute the safe to all the other windows systems where it is needed. This would be a natural extension of my current environment.
Good thinking. I would be happy to help test it. |
